Lauren Makes Contribution to Public Art Trail
Urban Designer, Lauren Brown, has designed and created a Superdragon as part of the public art initiative in Newport City Centre. The superdragon features an abstract map of the City Centre with some of the City's landmarks highlighted in 3D. The piece is designed to act as a map of Newport highlighting its recent and historical architecutural and structural landmarks.
Lauren's Superdragon 'Cityscape', which has subsequently been sponsored by the South Wales Argus has been placed in the pavillion at Belle Vue Park. You can view a news article about the dragon here and a blog entry by Lauren here.
